The client
Bodii is a UK health technology company. Its founder started it after a series of knee injuries of his own, to give patients a clearer view of where they stand during rehabilitation.
The challenge
Knee range of movement is usually measured in a clinic with a goniometer, which takes training to use. Between appointments, patients had no simple way to see how their recovery was going.
The product
Wearable sensor
The device straps to the leg and measures knee range of movement.
Home measurements
Patients take a reading two to three times a week.
Progress tracking
The app records each measurement and shows the change over time.
Sharing with physiotherapists
Readings can be shared so a physiotherapist can monitor progress and set goals remotely.

The product pairs a wearable sensor with a mobile app. The app takes each reading from the device, keeps the history, shows the change over time and lets the patient share it with a physiotherapist.
